    I made it. Pretty good, but I agree with some other reviews. I only baked it 50 minutes. also, in case anyone was wondering, you do not need a hand mixer to make this

    my Momma's recipe called for butter milk and it made 2 loaves and she had added chopped pecans..... and she would slice it thin, butter it, and put under the broiler......oh my gosh!...there was always a loaf wrapped in foil in the freezer!

    Sprinkled the top with mini chocolate chips. After 20 minutes it was already getting very brown on the edges but still liquid in the center so I cut the heat down to 325 for the remaining 40 minutes. The edges were a little darker than I prefer and the very middle was a tad gooey but overall, not too bad.

    May have to bake longer (up to 30 minutes), per one person who tried this recipe. She noted that it did not dry out edges.

    Turned out delicious! I could not find my Loaf pan so I put it in an 8 inch round cake pan and just checked it earlier.

    Have tried a few time found that best bakes at 160c for 50mins.
